Job summary

Ancora Education seeks an Employer Relations Specialist to develop and manage employer partnerships, advisory boards, externships and campus engagement. The role requires strong relationship-building, detailed recordkeeping in CampusVue, and collaboration with Career Coaches to align opportunities for graduates.

Up to 70% travel is expected. Responsibilities include sourcing leads, following up with employers, and delivering regular reports to the Director of Career Services.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in business/sales related field, or minimum 2-years comparable work experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Solid ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work independently and act on independent judgment.
• Proficient in computer research and database management.
• Experience building relationships, networking and community-based business development.
• Customer service and student-oriented satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain sustainable, long-term relationships with local, regional and national employers.
• Develop and maintain community involvement to support campus branding.
• Attend weekly Career Services meetings to align goals with graduates' employment opportunities.
• Identify job leads and orders via employer outreach and prospecting.
• Follow up with employers after graduate interviews for feedback and hiring possibilities.
• Communicate interview feedback daily with Career Coaches or DCS.
• Document all employer meetings, leads and orders in CampusVue.
• Collaborate with Career Coaches to match opportunities with graduates.
• Deliver Daily Activity Report to DCS and expense reports weekly.
• Prioritize and strategize for optimal outcomes.
