Job summary

Pima Community College Foundation Inc. seeks an Electrical Trades Specialist 2 to plan, schedule, and perform a wide range of electrical work across campuses, coordinating with managers, faculty, staff, vendors, and inspectors.

The role requires flexibility, possible evenings/weekends, on-call rotations, local travel, and routine maintenance of lighting, panels, and electrical systems, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years of electrical experience.
• Valid Arizona driver's license.
• Equivalents with certification, education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance of electrical equipment including switchgear, panels, and motor control centers.
• Inspects and repairs lighting, retrofitting as needed to meet code and city ordinances.
• Coordinates and assists with outside vendor work and equipment installation.
• Completes electrical projects with assistance from other trades maintenance functions.
• Maintains the facilities maintenance program for scheduling and tracking systems.
• Serves as first line of onsite action for campus electrical products.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
