Job summary

Pima Community College Foundation Inc. seeks an Electric Trades Specialist 3 to perform journeyman level electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across College facilities.

The role covers emergency backup generators, fire life safety systems, intrusion, and card access, with on-call rotation and local travel as needed. The position requires 3–7+ years of journey level experience and Arizona certification.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of journey level trade experience.
• Journeyman Wireman Certification in Arizona is required.
• Valid Arizona driver license or equivalent.
• Preferred: five to eight years of journey level trade experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical maintenance, repair, and installation to ensure reliability of distribution systems.
• Inspect contractor and in-house work to ensure College standards and NEC compliance.
• Provide 24-hour response for repairs and emergencies.
• Interpret diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for project assignments.
• Assist project managers in planning with regard to power factors and existing systems.
• Coordinate with facilities staff, administrators, and contractors.
