Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with four years of journey-level electrician experience.
• Or completion of a recognized four-year electrician apprenticeship program.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted with no substitution for HS Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform journey-level electrical inspections, repairs, installations and maintenance.
• Develop and follow a schedule of periodic electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out cabling/wiring for equipment installations and read blueprints for new construction or remodels.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems, redesign systems, estimate project costs and document work.
