Qualified candidates bring Journeyman license, an Associate degree or equivalent, and 2+ years supervisory experience. Strong communication and problem solving are essential for success in this role on the Lincoln campus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electrical systems or related field.
• 2+ years coordinating electrical installations and maintenance.
• 2+ years supervising staff and contractors.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and related operations.
• Ability to interpret work orders, estimates, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ability to assign and monitor daily work activities.
• Strong safety and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and Nebraska Journeyman license.

Responsibilities

• Implement priorities and communicate status to leadership.
• Monitor performance and propose improvements to electrical services.
• Coordinate electrical installations, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Review estimates and work plans for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assign work and adjust daily tasks to meet priorities.
• Track service work and project activity for schedule and budget alignment.
• Coordinate with campus stakeholders to align with needs and priorities.
• Oversee electrical work (low voltage, fire alarm, card access) safely and per codes.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations.
