Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electrical systems or related field.
• 2+ years coordinating electrical installations, maintenance, or related activities.
• 2+ years supervising staff, crews, contractors, or project teams.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, low voltage, fire alarm, access control.
• Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage daily work activities to support service needs and priorities.
• Strong safety awareness and knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Eligible for Nebraska driver’s license and able to drive on university business.

Responsibilities

• Implement priorities set by leadership and communicate status and needs.
• Monitor performance metrics and suggest improvements to electrical services.
• Coordinate electrical installations, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Review estimates and work plans for accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with priorities.
• Assign work and manage staffing coverage to meet service needs and schedules.
• Oversee campus electrical work including low voltage, fire alarm, and card access activities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes and standards.
