Job summary

Kennesaw State University seeks a Door Access Systems Specialist to manage campus electronic access privileges and security protocols. You will grant, remove, and troubleshoot access via system interfaces and coordinate with the Campus Services Customer Service Center on elevated issues.

The role requires experience with electronic access systems, a technical/associate degree, strong customer service, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines.

Qualifications

• Requires Technical or Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• One year related experience.
• Preferred: higher education experience, customer service experience, IT help desk or customer service support experience, and prior experience with electronic access systems.

Responsibilities

• Granting, removing, and troubleshooting electronic door access systems via system interface.
• Collaborate with Campus Services Customer Service Center for elevated door access concerns.
• Support department in generating user access lists and lock access logs on request.
• Assist in annual audits of door access privileges.
• Help develop and maintain door access standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with system and data updates, door access system upgrades and related projects.
