Job summary

Sodexo at Neumann University is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support kitchen operations with cleanliness and sanitation throughout food production and service areas. You will clean equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage spaces, and assist with basic setup and breakdown tasks.

Shifts are Afternoon/Evening, with some weekends and holidays; details shared during interview. You should have a High School diploma or GED, no prior experience required, and knowledge of sanitation and food

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.
• No related work experience required for entry.
• Diligence and reliability for shift work and routines.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps and mops floors; vacuums as needed.
• Removes trash to designated areas; maintains sanitation.
• Cleans equipment with approved chemicals; follows safety standards.
• Restocks soap, towels, and cleaning supplies.
• Walks or stands for extended periods; may exceed 8 hours.
• Lifts up to 50 pounds on occasion as required.
• Attends scheduled shifts punctually; performs other duties as assigned.
