Qualifications

• Must become proficient in proper operation of all Dish Room equipment safely and efficiently.
• Dish Room and related areas must be kept clean and sanitary per Chicago Health Department standards.
• Understand all dish room work stations and responsibilities.
• Communicate needs to Dish Crew Supervisor on duty.
• Know cleaning agents and MSDS usage.
• Follow Dining Services policies for opening/closing shifts and safety.
• Performs related and special duties as assigned.
• 1+ years supervisory experience in high-volume college food service or restaurant.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction.
• Team oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Dish Crew Supervisor, be responsible for overall operation of the dish room.
• Ensure the Dish Room and related areas are clean and sanitary to standards.
• Communicate equipment needs and issues to the on-duty supervisor.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and safety protocols.
