Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Management/Administration, Aviation, or equivalent combination
  • 5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in an educational setting
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational ability
  • Knowledge of educational regulations, accreditation, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in higher education, technical training, or career school environment
  • Budget management experience
  • Proficiency in computer file management, databases, and email systems
  • Experience with CNS or other CRM software preferred
  • Aviation industry knowledge and experience preferred
  • Familiarization with educational governing agencies and their applicable regulations
  • Adept at networking and public speaking

  • Support student retention, advising, academic hearings, graduations, orientations, and open houses
  • Ensure compliance with ACCSC, DOE, FAA, and applicable regulations
  • Manage budgets, equipment purchases, payroll approvals, and faculty scheduling
  • Serve as onsite Title IX Coordinator and support accommodations processes
  • Foster partnerships with industry and community organizations
  • Promote educational effectiveness and continuous improvement

Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Campus Director to provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for our Youngstown, Ohio campus.

The Campus Director is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the campus, with primary responsibility for supporting student success, leading and developing the campus team, and maintaining a positive, effective educational environment. Responsibilities include student engagement and retention; employee leadership, engagement, and retention; oversight of campus operations and facilities; compliance with state, federal, accreditation, and institutional requirements; community and employer partnerships; and responsible management of campus resources, procurement, revenue, and budget.
