Job summary

Rochester Institute of Technology is seeking an entry-level Dining Services team member to serve meals, maintain clean dining areas, and assist with setup and breakdown of serving stations on campus. You will follow sanitation standards and deliver friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports a university dining operation with predictable on-campus hours, non-exempt status, and opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serves food to diners following established quality control, portioning, and customer service standards.
• Maintains the cleanliness and organization of serving lines, condiment stations, and dining areas.
• Sets up and breaks down serving stations in accordance with dining service requirements.
• Follows all sanitation and health safety standards strictly.
• Provides excellent service in a friendly, sincere, and courteous manner.
• Confirms supplies and equipment availability and oversees setup as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
