Job summary

TES Staffing is recruiting for RIT Dining on campus in Rochester, NY. This is a Full-Time, 40 hours per week, set schedule, temp-to-hire role with RIT Dining.

Position targets individuals with supervisor or management experience to support dining services at Rochester Institute of Technology. Benefits include health coverage, tuition assistance, retirement matching, meal benefits, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service production or sanitation is preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems operation and management.
• Strong time management, organization and multi-tasking in high volume environments.
• Ability to plan, delegate, train and coach the work of others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation, assembly and service of various food and dining options.
• Assist with steaming, frying, reheating and garnishing as needed.
• Ensure food service stations are set up, stocked and maintained.
• Oversee sanitation and inspection of facilities and equipment per standards.
• Maintain quality customer service and lead by example.
• Manage food and beverage sales and cash handling per university POS procedures.
• Collaborate with team to manage inventories, orders, budgets and revenue.
• Train and coach team members to deliver quality service and uphold university values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
