• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic dining room environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active, engaged presence in the dining room and host area to warmly welcome guests, anticipate needs, personalize dining visits, and assist with service recovery.
• Review reservations and guest history via OpenTable to identify returning guests, VIPs, hotel visitors, and special celebrations.
• Serve as a food and beverage brand ambassador by maintaining in-depth knowledge of menus, wine offerings, cocktails, and Notre Dame family beverage partnerships, sharing these stories with guests and team members during pre-shifts.
• Partner with servers, bartenders, hosts, and leadership to model hospitality excellence, communicate guest preferences, and reinforce a culture of elevated service.
• Proactively identify and propose opportunities for surprise-and-delight touches, hospitality initiatives, and seamless coordination with Hotel Guest Relations.
