The University of Notre Dame is hiring a Dining Room Attendant for the Morris Inn, part of the UOES Hospitality team. The role supports servers to ensure prompt, courteous service and is focused on breakfast/brunch hours on campus.

Responsibilities include refilling beverages, bussing, table clearing, and safe handling of dishes and glassware. On-site position with pay of $8.78/hr plus tips.

Qualifications

• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
• Positive, respectful, excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products

Job Description

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for temporary/on-call Dining Room Attendants at Rohr's in our campus Hospitality department. The UOES Division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.

Dining Room Attendant

As a Dining Room Attendant at the Morris Inn, you will be an essential part of our dining team, assisting servers to ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service. We are seeking dedicated individuals who can work early morning shifts and join our breakfast/brunch team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Replenish water and condiments for guests.
• Carry trays to assist with service.
• Clear any used or unwanted items from tables.
• Clear tables of dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Stack dishes as instructed for efficient transport.
