Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is hiring a temporary/on-call Driver for Campus Dining. The Driver delivers food, equipment, and supplies between Campus Dining locations, ensuring accuracy and outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include delivering to Athletic Training facilities, day cares, auxiliary operations, and Retail Dining locations; loading/unloading; checking received items; keeping storerooms sanitary and organized; and maintaining

Qualifications

Time management: able to plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision.
Positive, respectful, and committed to the schedule you create.
Excellent communication and listening skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours).
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

Responsibilities

Deliver food, equipment, and supplies to and from Campus Dining operations.
Deliver meals from Allergen Kitchen to other Campus Dining locations.
Pick up bakery and other items from Center for Culinary Excellence and deliver to various Campus Dining operations.
Load/Unload trucks, put away food and goods as designated.
Check product and equipment that is received.
Ensure products are rotated properly.
Maintain a sanitary and safe storeroom.
Sweep, mop, dust and remove boxes to keep work area clean and organized.
