Elior Collegiate Dining in Douglas, GA is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to lead a talented team and manage all aspects of the food service department to ensure meals are delivered smoothly for students and staff.

You will hire and train associates, enforce culinary, safety, and sanitation standards, and oversee budgeting and purchasing to meet targets. This role requires strong communication and a track record in coordinating food service operations in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and experience communicating with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
• Experience coordinating food service operations for at least two years.
• Experience with industrial cooking.

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and train a team of associates, including hiring.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department and handle purchasing to meet targets and forecasts.
• Coordinate with district manager on dining service aspects.
