Job summary

University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a seasoned CSM Project Manager to lead complex design and construction projects on the MU campus. You will establish scope, schedule, and budgets, coordinate with internal teams and external consultants, and ensure projects meet university standards and timelines.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, MO licensure in architecture or engineering, and PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 6 years of experience
• Professional architect or engineering licensure within the state of Missouri
• Experience within the Design and/or Construction Industry
• Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional
• Requires operating university vehicles; valid driver’s license is required

Responsibilities

• Establish scope, schedule, and budgets; communicate project status to participants
• Develop project scope, schedule, and budget for projects designed by internal or contracted consultants
• Manage architectural and engineering development and studies in compliance with university rules and related requirements
• Review and approve plans and specifications prepared by architects, engineers, and interior designers
• Coordinate with campus and community partners and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Initiate and facilitate bidding processes and manage consultant selections and contracts

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience

6+ years of experience

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
