University of Missouri System is seeking a Senior Project Manager for mechanical engineering to lead building-design efforts, direct architects and engineers, and serve as the owner's ME authority on projects in Columbia, MO.

This is a design-focused role emphasizing scope, reviews, consultant direction, and standards development, with no field supervision. PE license in Missouri or reciprocity preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Missouri, or eligibility by reciprocity.
• Experience with complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), hydronic, district energy systems.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, research, or complex institutional facilities.
• Experience developing design scopes, schedules, cost estimates, and professional services proposals.

Mansioni

• Evaluate design alternatives for system performance, maintainability, energy efficiency and lifecycle cost.
• Review mechanical drawings and specifications at design phases; identify coordination gaps and conformance to standards.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; manage design consultants and relationships.
• Plan staff workload, monitor progress, and forecast related costs.
