Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District campus/department custodian role performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and event setup under direction of the campus principal or designee. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand and speak English.
• Valid Texas or New Mexico driver's license or acceptable Texas/New Mexico ID.
• Subject to district drug and alcohol testing policy and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules; clean floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture.
• Move furniture and assist with event setup.
• Perform minor maintenance and report major repairs.
• Regulate HVAC to ensure appropriate temperatures per district guidelines.
• Open/secure facilities and follow safety procedures.
• Lift 20–50 pounds; climb ladders; work in all weather.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
