Job summary

SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a custodial staff member to maintain a clean and safe school environment. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, desks, walls, doors, restrooms, and common areas while following district procedures.

This 12-month position (250 days) requires the ability to read and follow cleaning instructions, operate custodial equipment, lift heavy objects, and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand instructions for cleaning, maintenance and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment and furniture.
• Must be able to walk, stand, climb, and carry continuously for at least 4 hours without a break.
• Ability to properly handle cleaning supplies and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Include cleaning of floors, student desks, walls, doors, door facings, light switches, countertops, toilets, urinals, sinks, water fountains. Keep school building neat and clean.
• Comply with SISD custodial procedures.
