Job summary

Mount Aloysius College seeks a full-time Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness of campus buildings, including classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways and other public areas. Duties include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, scrubbing floors, washing windows and shampooing carpets.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; housekeeping experience desirable. Must work independently with minimal supervision, set priorities, and communicate effectively with coworkers.

• Experience in housekeeping/custodial desirable.
• Ability to carry out assigned responsibilities independently in the absence of direct supervision and follow oral and/or written directions required.
• Ability to set work priorities and establish positive rapport with coworkers also required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, lounges, restrooms, hallways and other public areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, scrub floors, wash windows and shampoo carpets.
• Shift hours determined based on coverage needs; some evenings and weekends may be required for events.
