Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County seeks a Custodian/Laborer (Reg FT) to perform housekeeping, janitorial, grounds keeping, and general maintenance across CCAC campuses. The role operates on a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm shift, Monday to Friday, with possible evening/weekend hours to meet department needs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and a valid PA driver’s license. This in-person position involves cleaning, maintenance tasks, and the ability to travel to all CCAC sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; ability to read, write and do basic math is required.
• Must possess a valid Pennsylvania driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping, janitorial, grounds keeping and general maintenance duties across CCAC campuses.
• Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Drive campus vehicles to pick up and deliver supplies and move heavy items as needed.
• Follow laws, policies, and directives; work as directed by the housekeeping supervisor or custodial leader.
