Job summary

Community College of Allegheny County is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor (Regular Full-Time) to oversee housekeeping, groundskeeping, and contracted staff on Main Campus. The role focuses on clean, sanitary facilities and first impression services for student success.

The position requires an Associates degree, five years of related experience, and a PA driver's license. Work hours are Monday–Friday 2:30pm–11:00pm with a four-day summer week when applicable.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Minimum of five years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Valid PA driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, route, and monitor assignments for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect areas of responsibility for quality.
• Provide on-site training and education on cleaning techniques, safety, and health.
• Maintain inventories and order supplies and equipment.
• Review products and equipment usage for improvements.
• Establish and maintain a product testing program.
• Prepare the department's capital equipment budget.
• Supervise building services including set-up of classrooms and events.
• Oversee contracted services and waste management contracts.
• Protect college assets via effective use of keys and equipment.
