Job summary

SSC Services for Education seeks a Custodial Manager to oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and security for multiple Higher Ed campus buildings in College Station, TX. You will coordinate janitorial personnel, ensure adherence to company guidelines, and deliver exceptional service.

In this role, you will mentor supervisors, conduct inspections, manage inventory, and serve as the liaison between administrators and custodial staff to meet customer expectations and campus standards.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff.
• Understanding of budgeting concepts and cost control.
• Experience supervising housekeeping or custodial teams.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Lead all custodial activities and supervise janitorial staff to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to supervisors and hourly employees.
• Inspect facilities, address complaints, and ensure timely task completion.
• Manage equipment maintenance and supplies inventory.
• Coordinate with building occupants and stakeholders to meet expectations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across operations.
