SSC Services for Education seeks a Bench Custodial Manager to oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and security for a Higher Ed campus. You will coordinate janitorial staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold SSC’s standards in a complex university setting.

The role requires leadership of supervisors, scheduling, budgeting awareness, and a commitment to safety; ideal candidates have years in custodial or facilities management, strong communication, and a valid driver\'s license to operate

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 7 years custodial or facilities management experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience managing multiple leaders.
• Experience overseeing large-scale custodial operations.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare, hospitality, or large institutional environments.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate janitorial personnel to ensure seamless operations and high service quality.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to supervisors and hourly staff.
• Conduct inspections, address complaints, and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Manage equipment maintenance and inventory of supplies.
• Act as liaison between occupants and custodial staff to align with customer expectations.
• Develop operational plans to ensure consistent cleaning across campus facilities.
• Monitor budgeting issues and contribute to cost-effective operations.
