Job summary

SPS is seeking a Courier to deliver mail and parcels across the campus and to serve as a back-up for front/back office tasks. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, professional appearance, and compliance with safety and procedural standards.

You will report to supervisory leadership and work from a central dispatch. The position requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 2+ years prior work experience preferred.
• Current state-issued driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work assigned work hours determined by manager.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides 5-star customer service to all employees (in all forms of communication).
• Travels a predefined courier route via automobile to deliver mail and parcels campus-wide.
• Keeps log and time stamp of items received and delivered.
• Supports chain of custody requirements defined within operating procedures.
• Performs pick-up and delivery following maps or written instructions.
• Responds to client requests ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Completes paperwork in a timely, accurate, legible manner.
• Maintains vehicle safety and routine maintenance as per guidelines.
• Provides front or back office coverage as needed.
