Job summary

The Claremont Colleges Services is seeking a Construction Project Manager Associate to support capital improvement, maintenance, renovation, and construction projects across the campus. You will help plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from scope development through turnover, working under the Construction Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in CM, business, public admin, eng, arch, or facilities mgmt.
• 3–5 years in construction or project coordination; 0–2 years in PM.
• Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout of capital and maintenance projects.
• Independently manage small-scale or multi-trade projects under supervision.
• Document progress via meetings, site visits, and reports.
• Review schedules, payment apps, change orders, and project status reports.
• Coordinate RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and project correspondence.
• Support project budgets, cost estimates, funding requests, and financial reporting.
• Maintain project records and deliverables to ensure compliance.
