Job summary

The Project Management Institute seeks a Project Manager to provide construction management for Auraria Campus and partner institutions. The role covers planning, design, and construction of projects from conception through closeout, ensuring they meet scope, schedule and budget constraints.

Responsibilities include budget development, coordination with designers and contractors, on-site progress inspections, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a related field.
• Must possess a valid unencumbered Colorado driver’s license at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of project budgets aligned with timelines for small to medium development or renovation projects.
• Manage planning, design and construction phases of projects and maintain schedules.
• Provide bi-weekly updates on project status.
• Monitor on-site construction progress and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Oversee procurement, contracts, change orders, negotiations and consultant relationships.
• Mentor project planners and assist with architect/engineering firm selections.

Education
