Job summary

JCC East Bay is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator in Oakland to greet guests, answer questions, and ensure a welcoming, organized front desk. Stationed at the front desk, you will serve as a campus concierge and liaison for over 20 partner organizations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong communication and front-desk experience, and the ability to manage schedules and events. This full-time position offers a stable 9am–5pm schedule and a collaborative community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in guest services, front desk, or customer-facing roles.
• Experience in a Jewish community center or nonprofit is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members with warmth and professionalism at the front desk.
• Develop and maintain front-desk procedures and training materials.
• Manage visitor check-in logs and coordinate access and safety.
• Support campus events and partner organizations as needed.
