Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks, with relocation to the Madison, WI area. You'll influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure and work with Cisco and other vendors in a global network environment.

You will explore modern switching and routing platforms, design WAN connectivity, and leverage Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code, in a small, collaborative team that keeps Epic running to serve healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience with campus and cloud networks is preferred.
• Familiarity with switches, routers, access points, and UPSs.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks.
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's infrastructure.
• Configure firewall rules; design WAN connectivity.
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for deployments.
• Collaborate in a small team to ensure Epic runs smoothly for healthcare customers.
