Job summary

Epic is seeking a network engineer to install, configure, and support our campus and cloud networks. You will evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure, with a focus on modern switching, routing, and WAN design.

You will work with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and join a collaborative team to keep our network running for healthcare customers. Relocation to the Madison, WI area is reimbursed, and candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent
• Experience with campus and cloud networks preferred
• Experience or interest in switches, routers, access points, and UPSes
• Cisco hardware expertise and CCNA/CCNP helpful
• Relocation to Madison, WI area reimbursed
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
• COVID-19 vaccination recommended

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support campus and cloud networks
• Evaluate technology and influence changes in Epic's internal infrastructure
• Configure firewall rules and design/troubleshoot WAN connectivity
• Leverage Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code deployments
• Collaborate in a small team to keep Epic's network running smoothly
