Job summary

The University of Utah seeks a Campus Camps Program Manager to lead in-person, year-round Youth Education programs for ages 6-17 at the University of Utah and locations across the valley. You will oversee summer camps run by instructors, community partners, and university departments, working with three other Youth Education Program Managers to meet department goals.

• Requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 6 years related work experience.
• Or a master’s degree (or equivalent) with 4 years related work experience.
• Experience in program management and operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of Youth Education's Campus Camps programs.
• Oversee all aspects of program operations, including timelines, logistics, risk management, and participant experience.
• Ensure programs align with mission, goals, and strategic priorities.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operating standards that support safe, high-quality programming.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on assessment data and feedback.
• Prepare reports, track outcomes, and maintain accurate program records.
• Collaborate with university departments and community instructors to expand partnerships.
