Qualifications

• Meet driving record check standards
• Meet criminal history check standards
• Meet Federal DOT guidelines and physical exam requirements
• Pass drug and alcohol screening
• Complete Dean Transportation School Bus Driver Training Program

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
• Follow established routes and designated bus stops
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills as required
• Instruct passengers on safety procedures
• Drive defensively under varying traffic and weather conditions
• Maintain professional conduct with staff, students, and parents
• Participate in training sessions and in-service programs
