Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, reporting issues, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Strong communication with parents and staff is essential, with endorsements like RESA and CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience; 3+ years preferred.
• RESA, CDL (Class A or B), Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake Endorsements; Michigan State Education Card

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students and ensure on-time routes per client policies and laws.
• Manage and keep students calm and orderly on the bus.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report on-time duty and route performance.
• Assist passengers in evacuations during emergencies.
• Complete route change sheets, timecards, and vehicle repair requests.
• Maintain a clean, presentable interior and professional appearance.
• Communicate with parents, students, staff, and customers.
• Operate wheelchair lifts, radios, and emergency equipment safely.
