Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Up to 6 months of general experience using hand and power tools or assisting in basic construction/maintenance.
• A valid state driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Trade Assistance: Assist skilled plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and HVAC mechanics with daily maintenance and installation tasks.
• Semi-Skilled Labor: Perform basic tasks such as mixing mortar, cutting lumber, pulling wire, cleaning equipment, or threading pipes.
• Site Preparation & Cleanup: Clear work areas, haul debris, remove old fixtures or baseboards, and set up temporary structures or scaffolding.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and building supplies to various campus job sites using university vehicles or handcarts.
