Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with institutional housekeeping and floor care preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, power tools, and chemicals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for academic buildings and offices.
• Maintain equipment and report needs to BES Supervisor.
• Assist in testing and recommending purchases of supplies.
• Maintain floor surfaces, vacuuming and gum removal.
• Follow Facilities Management, UNC Charlotte, and State policies.
• Perform duties with physical effort as required.
