Job summary

University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking a Building Environmental Technician – Contributing to maintain clean and sanitary conditions across classrooms, labs, offices and common areas on campus. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with institutional housekeeping and floor care preferred.
• Ability to perform medium to heavy physical work.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, power tools and chemicals.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and care for academic buildings, offices, studios, and state buildings.
• Maintain equipment and report needs to BES Supervisor.
• Assist in testing and recommending supplies and equipment.
• Follow Facilities Management and UNC Charlotte policies.
