Job summary

University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences seeks an administrative leader to support its Satellite Speech-Language Pathology program.

You will work with the Program Director to align curriculum, goals, and outcomes, and to manage program operations at the satellite campus. This on-campus role requires presence for residencies, faculty and departmental meetings, immersion activities, commencements, and student-related events, with responsibilities spanning budget, faculty supervision,

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred; higher education leadership experience encouraged.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Prior graduate teaching experience; graduate education administration highly preferred.
• Proven organizational skills with excellent communication, time management and delegation experience.
• Demonstrated data analysis and student outcomes skills.
• Experience with collaboration, facilitation, and team building.

Responsibilities

• Implements strategies to achieve program goals consistent with university policies.
• Collects, prepares, and furnishes outcome data for the program as required.
• Participates in Program Director Council to develop policies and procedures.
• Oversees core and contributing faculty in related areas.
• Oversees training, development, and supervision of core faculty.
• Participates in recruitment and hiring of contributing faculty and lab assistants.
• Oversees local clinical education office responsibilities and organizational development.
• Interacts with local facility manager and student services to ensure satisfaction and communication.
• Plans and participates in program events.
• Assists budget development and coordinates resources for classroom/lab activities and student needs.
• Supervises students and handles issues such as complaints and misconduct.
• Reduced teaching workload not to exceed 0.5 FTE.
• Engages in service and scholarly activities.
• Participates in marketing and university representation.
