Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Three years of professional AV production experience.
• Three years of professional customer service experience.
• Three years of experience with large events in fast-paced facilities.
• Programming knowledge and coding experience required.
• Ability to train student staff and supervise.
• Experience with built-in AV systems: lighting, sound, video, streaming.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to work irregular hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate, test, troubleshoot, maintain, replace, build, and inventory AV equipment.
• On-site management of events and their AV needs/operations.
• Train student employees on setup: projection, sound, lighting, control systems, streaming/recording.
• Ensure AV equipment functions daily in Student Center and other locations.
• Write/update AV equipment guides and conduct user trainings.
• Be the point of contact for AV questions for students and staff.
• Perform other related departmental duties as required.
