Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related tech discipline and four years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of computing and networks in distributed environments.
• Ability to install computer hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV system designer services and procure technology per requirements.
• Offer SME guidance across system environments for varied project needs.
• Collaborate with clients to define project scope, prepare estimates and quotes, and navigate procurement within university standards.
• Develop innovative solutions to improve daily operations and system performance.
• Own the DSI Tech project management process from inception to completion, aligning with TAC 216 and IT governance.
• Monitor UNT AV and IT standards related to system maintenance and integration.
• Maintain intake processes to verify scope for incidents or projects.
• Familiar with UNT procedures such as Work Control requests and IT group coordination.
• Utilize tools like Work Order, Room Monitor, Microsoft Office, IT incident reporting, and project management systems.
• Promote safety and teamwork, fostering an environment of excellence and collaboration.
• Communicate positively to empower teams and manage conflicts quickly.
