Job summary

Epic is seeking an AV Engineer to design, install, train, maintain, and operate sound, video, and control systems for its expansive Madison-area campus. You will support over 200 conference rooms, 70 training rooms, and an 11,000-seat auditorium, working with a team to create ideal spaces for events of all sizes—live and virtual.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, system layout, and ongoing operations to ensure event success, with relocation assistance provided as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in audio/visual production or related work experience.
  • Familiarity with Open Architecture DSP platforms.
  • Familiarity with Digital AoIP (audio over IP) & SDVoE (video over ethernet) protocols & systems.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
  • COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

  • Design, install, train, maintain, and operate sound, video, and control systems for a large corporate campus.
  • Provide hands-on support to ensure project success for events of all sizes.
  • Collaborate with AV experts to layout new systems and support ongoing operations.
  • Support both live and virtual events across multiple conference rooms, training rooms, and auditorium.

Education

Bachelor's degree in audio/visual production or related work experience
