Job summary

Latham & Watkins LLP is seeking an Associate Recruiting Coordinator to support entry-level hiring, including the summer program and campus outreach. The role liaises with law schools and plays a key part in strategies and budgets for the firm’s Bay Area offices in San Francisco and Redwood City.

Hybrid and in-office presence is required, with in-office presence the majority of the time. A bachelor’s degree and at least two years in legal recruitment or professional services are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in legal recruitment or professional services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate candidate interviews and correspondence, perform GPA calculations, and maintain candidate records.
• Develop and maintain relationships with target law schools, career services, student organizations, vendors, and other recruitment professionals; represent the firm at recruiting events.
• Plan and execute logistics for the summer program and entry-level hiring, including orientation, programming, events, and offer letters.
• Develop and monitor budgets and expenses for outreach and recruiting efforts; collaborate on marketing and promotional strategies.
• Provide administrative support to the Recruiting Committee and prepare recruitment statistics and presentations.
• Protect highly sensitive, confidential, privileged information that the firm retains.
