Centura College in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Campus Receptionist to create a welcoming environment, handle calls, greet guests, and support the Admissions Department with documentation. You will enter inquiries in CampusNexus, distribute reports, and assist with daily lead tracking to help drive applicant engagement and campus operations.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills, with a schedule that aligns with campus hours and occasional after‑hours support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven educational environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task under pressure.
• Strong integrity, work ethic, and professionalism.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and guide them to appropriate departments.
• Handle inbound calls and route inquiries to campus staff.
• Assist Admissions with documentation and record-keeping.
• Provide admin support to faculty and staff as needed by Admissions.
• Enter and manage inquiries in CampusNexus and maintain lead reports.
• Prepare daily activity reports for Admissions leadership.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Admissions leadership.
