Job summary

University of Advancing Technology is seeking an Admissions Advisor to guide students and families through the application and enrollment journey at our Tempe campus. The role emphasizes proactive outreach, relationship building, and clear communication to drive enrollment decisions.

You will manage inquiries, provide program information, and coordinate advising, financial aid insights, and transfer credit evaluations while thriving in a metrics-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guiding students through enrollment processes or admissions activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with prospective students and families.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, goal-driven environment with metrics.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all enrollment activities for students pursuing enrollment into the University.
• Assess student need and present information as to how UAT may benefit their goals.
• Support students through consultations, financial aid, insight into residential life, and transfer credit evaluations.
• Guide prospective students through the application process and build relationships through recruitment funnel.
• Coach students and build rapport with secondary influencers.
• Respond to phone and email inquiries on admissions process and status of applications.
• Convey the value of education and the university’s offerings.
• Meet and exceed goals and thrive in a metrics-driven environment.
