Job summary

MGRM Pinnacle Inc. in Tempe, Arizona, seeks an Academic Advisor - Student Success & Retention to manage a caseload of students and provide consistent advising, planning, and progress monitoring throughout enrollment.

You will build strong relationships with students and families, identify barriers, intervene early, and support graduation planning with collaboration across teachers and site staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of experience in academic advising or related student-facing role.
• Strong communication, organizational, technology, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ownership of an assigned caseload and serve as a consistent contact throughout their program.
• Conduct individual advising sessions to understand goals, progress, challenges, and barriers.
• Monitor progress and intervene when students fall behind or disengage.
• Coordinate with families, teachers, site staff, attendance personnel, and other departments to address needs.
• Maintain documentation and ensure FERPA compliance while collaborating with teams.
