Job summary

Arizona State University is seeking an Academic Success Advisor to join the Academic Strategy and Student Experience Team (ASSET) on the Tempe campus. You will support undergraduate students from admission through graduation using a mix of virtual and in-person advising strategies in a collaborative, team-based model.

Ideal candidates will promote student retention, show curiosity and compassion, and are committed to student care and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of experience or training that yields comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise undergraduate students on degree requirements, policies and procedures.
• Update student records in relevant systems to reflect progress.
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Support students in establishing academic and career goals and connect them with ASU resources.
• Collaborate with university partners to provide consistent degree information.
• Meet students in multiple modalities (in person, phone, email, Zoom, classroom visits, orientation).
• Deliver presentations to students and families regarding advising and degree programs.
