Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; 1-5 years in transportation coordination, accessibility services, customer service operations, or related field.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Experience coordinating schedules, services, programs, or operational activities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving in a customer service or administrative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling/databases.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of accessibility principles, customer service practices, and transportation safety standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing operational needs.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with diverse constituents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the College's accessible transportation program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor transportation schedules to meet accommodation-related needs.
• Assess service demands and make independent decisions on route assignments and prioritizations.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Maintain records and operational data.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility requirements and institutional policies.
• Participate in planning and implementation of transportation accessibility initiatives.
• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate student employees.
• Provide coaching and feedback; monitor work and service standards.
• Coordinate with ARC, HR, Campus Safety, Residence Life and others to support accommodation needs.
• Operate accessible transportation vehicles as needed and assist passengers.
• Oversee vehicle inspections, maintenance, and equipment readiness.
• Review incident reports and coordinate follow-up actions.
