Job summary

Unitek Learning in Reno, NV seeks an Academic Administrative Assistant for a full‑time, campus-based position. Compensation ranges from USD 17.00 to USD 24.00 per hour, with a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.

The role involves coordinating academic materials, managing faculty and student files, and handling multiple tasks across RN and PN programs. Strong Excel/Word skills, reliable communication, and healthcare terminology knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent certificate.
• Ability to maintain records.
• Willing to learn and maintain information on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Ability to multi-task simultaneously.
• Must be capable of communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Has medical terminology knowledge or work experience in health care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining information, and tracking documents for academic RN and PN departments.
• Assist with scanning of documents for academics.
• Operates a variety of office equipment; computer, printer, photocopies, facsimile, scanner and calculator.
• Assists in maintaining and updating of existing academic files.
• Assist with updating program specific forms.
• Responsible for auditing faculty & student files for academic programs and notifies appropriate individuals of missing or outdated documentation.
• Ability to travel to different campuses as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
