Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. seeks a Property Engineer to oversee daily maintenance and grounds operations across our campground properties.

You will lead Maintenance Engineers and Groundskeepers to ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment, with a focus on timely preventive maintenance and safety compliance. The role requires directing repairs, managing budgets, and coordinating projects while ensuring all safety standards and regulations are met.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have supervisory or higher role experience in maintenance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and other work documents.
• Decision-making ability and budgeting skills.
• Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete maintenance requests and repairs in a timely manner and in order of priority.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems throughout the campground.
• Assist in development, maintenance and execution of a preventative maintenance program.
• Lead maintenance or landscaping projects and initiatives.
• Communicate daily activities and issues to supervisor; coordinate with teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations; enforce Lockout/Tagout where required.
• Maintain tool and supply inventories and PPE; monitor budget implications.
