• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and maintenance/repairs to campground buildings, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds as directed by the engineering supervisor.
• Comply with KOA safety programs and guidelines for equipment, tools and chemicals.
• Maintain compliance with preventative maintenance through regular inspection of facilities, buildings, cabins, vehicles, and equipment.
• Inspect equipment to ensure proper functioning of systems (heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, electrical).
• Troubleshoot problems and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Install fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed.
• Maintain pool and aquatic features by ensuring proper chemistry and safe handling of chemicals.
• Interact with guests in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Prioritize tasks with conscious planning and decision making.
• Work well under pressure and maintain composure.
• Follow the quality assurance manual for property maintenance.
